Top 10 NEW Single Player Games of 2022

It's finally getting the light of day this year, after so long, and it's just a weird, gross sci-fi horror first-person shooter. I don't really know a better way to describe this one but for me, the main appeal is the art direction. The art style, very much inspired by H.R. Giger. H.R. Giger, famous for the "Alien" designs from the original movies, as well as a ton more. This game seems to lean on the body horror, the mystery and atmosphere, and world-building that we come to for something like this.

Table of Contents

10 "LEGO Star Wars:

The Skywalker Saga.” This is basically love
letter to LEGO star wars fans. Even if you were little
a little old for games or you grew up playing them
they were absolutely iconic. And what you have here is a new twist on "LEGO Star Wars" and a new version of gameplay

All these movies. Another lightsaber fight

better person shooting, more jokes, completely different jokes, additional characters to play as,
and open worlds to explore. There is an absolute metric

a lot of things in these games. It's packed to the gills. And just for that, alone, for cruising and
by playing movies and watching another new spin
on "LEGO Star Wars" things are quite expensive
price of admission.

If you like these things, you are
I guess I'll dig this one.

9 Bayonetta 3:

we have "Bayonetta 3". We're finally getting there
a new "Bayonetta" game after so many years of waiting. These third party actions

the rival "Devil May Cry" games have always been really cool. "Bayonetta 2" was completely sleepy. And now this full-fledged one
The first "Bayonetta" game for Nintendo Switch will feature an additional playable character, crazy over-the-top screen-filling summons and just, hopefully,
better action combat

8 A Plague Tale: Requiem:

And super stylish

and happy moments. It's been a long wait
so we really hope they knock it out of the park with this one. Releases October 28th. Now, at number eight, we have "A Plague Tale:
Requiem." This is a sequel
the absolutely incredible "A Plague Tale: Innocence." And in it you travel through a medieval world, ravaged by plague, flooded
with sick rats, And it's just you, Amicie and her young brother,
Hugo, I'm trying to pass.

There's a little more to it
I don't want to spoil it, but basically these
the games focus on beautiful visuals, gripping storytelling, environmental puzzle solving, and occasional battles that are absolutely effective. It seems this time
as Amicia is more capable. She's been through a lot
in the previous game. He seems to have more combativeness
abilities and other gadgets. And with the new location and who knows where the story will go, we are very much looking
we'll see what happens ahead.

7 Evil West:

And it comes out on October 18th. Now next over, to the number
seven, "Wicked West." Man, can you watch this game? Doesn't that seem like an absolute blast from the past? This just looks like one of those fun, high-end action games from the mid-2000s, with sci-fi and horror elements that I'm just all about. This is basically a western where you're kind of crazy
vampire hunter-slayer with cool weapons
in fun third-person combat.

I'm not at the moment

looking for any game to reinvent the wheel, just looking for something
to be straightforward and good and funny and creative. And from what we've seen
so far it looks like "Evil West". There's really not much more to say about it. Just great, monster
cowboy action. Lets go. Next on the number
six, "Ghostwire: Tokyo." If you're looking for a single player game that's a little less traditional, this might be the way to go.

6 GhostWire: Tokyo:

It's a bit structured and
a bit like a "Yakuza" game where you walk around
small town with an open world and get strange quests but
you get them from ghosts. And then you go out and you
fight other really cool, creepy designed ghosts
with Dr. By strange powers. It's definitely not ours
favorite game of the year, but it gets a lot of points for being completely different and really unlike anything else

have you ever played It's not necessarily great
scary, it's a horror game, but it relies more on how
the fun crazy side of horror, and it totally works here.

Some boss battles
they are absolutely wild. Next, at number five, we have "Horizon Forbidden West." This came out this year. This was a sequel
on "Horizon Zero Dawn" and it takes the story and
building the world to new heights. This game has gone completely bonkers in terms of storytelling,
but you only get a ton with it
more tools to work with, more creatures to hunt, a larger open world
more in-depth side quests, more crafting, more stealth
discoveries, even better visuals.

5 Horizon Forbidden West:

is the true definition of a bigger, badder sequel. It's a great way to bend your PS5 if that's what you want to do. And like I said, Aloy's

the road certainly leads places. Really, more than anything, we're just excited to see it
where things will go next. Now the next number
fourth, we have the "Atomic Heart." Check out this game. This is an incredible mix of seemingly simulation style games like "Deus Ex" or the more recent "Prey",

4 Atomic Heart:

With a good dose of "BioShock"
and the odd sci-fi horror. Some of the newer trailers
we saw with this game is something like a

a compilation of just endless, mind-blowing, weird things, from melee combat, cool weapons, to absolutely shocking enemies, things we've never had
seen earlier in the games. I'm incredibly excited
this one if you can't tell. Even if it just boils
when it looks great it looks very creative
and it's like "BioShock." That's all I really needed to be honest. This is being worked on

For a really, genuinely lengthy time. It's been delayed many, many times. But as of proper now we know

it's slated for late 2022. Now, subsequent at wide variety three,

we have "Callisto Protocol." This is some other good

old-fashioned video sport from a lot of the human beings behind

the unique "Dead Space." And they have admitted This is very a great deal a religious successor of that. What you get right here is third

person, survival-horror, tight corridor, worrying action. And you can see it here

with some brutal melee, cool weapons, and heaps of

awesome zombie and creature gore.

3Callisto Protocol:

I've stated it before,

but "Callisto Protocol" simply appears like exactly

what the physician ordered if you simply like third-person survival-horror action-adventure games. It's been a minute considering that we bought a without a doubt excellent stable AAA a one, and we're hoping "Callisto

Protocol" delivers. Because it is gonna squeak via this year. It's releasing December 2nd, 2022. Now, down to variety two, of course, you be aware of we have been gonna

mention it, "Elden Ring." "Elden Ring" is an absolute blowout

2 Elden Ring:

Of the Soulsborne formula. They took what they had perfected, and they simply made it absolutely

massive and compelling, and but still, incredibly

cohesive and thoughtful. The way this recreation encourages and rewards open-world

exploration is without a doubt satisfying, the fight is nonetheless extraordinary as you would expect, and the character-building

is truly some thing else. You're capable to get very

creative with your builds. Along with that, the vibe, the atmosphere, and the range of the areas

and dungeons and enemies, it is simply all that From Software stuff

You without a doubt anticipate at this point, and it is so exciting to get immersed in. Obviously, clearly, formerly this year, we all fell in love with "Elden Ring," and we're nonetheless thinking

about it to this day. Now, down to quantity one, the

game that we're jointly the most excited about

this 12 months on the channel is "God of War Ragnarök." We've been searching ahead to

this one for a very lengthy time, as massive followers of the

original "God of War" video games and of course, "God of War" 2018, that form of reimagine things.

1 God of War Ragnarok:

We're simply searching ahead to seeing where Kratos and Atreus's

story goes this time around. And from what we've got seen, it appears like large worlds,

more interplay with NPCs, and simply stuff in general. More fight options, greater enemy types, optimistically extra bosses. And the subsequent step in a story

of each father and son, and additionally simply a wild world

filled with mythology and gods. The bar used to be set rather excessive with the aid of "2018." We're hoping this one lives up to it and we will be in a position to take a look at it out

When it releases November

9th of this year. Now, these are some of the quality new and upcoming single-player games, however we obtained two bonus

games well worth mentioning. The first is "Thymesia." This is a Soulsborne-style sport with a little bit more

of a "Bloodborne" flare that did not exchange the world or whatever however has a ton of exciting fight alternatives and is well worth checking out if you like stuff like "Sekiro" as well. Also, "Rollerdrome."
